I am NOT a salesperson. I find when I think of a sales conversation as a conversation to get to know someone and offer my services if the fit is good, I feel a lot better. If it turns out I had a good conversation with someone, got to know them and their business better, and there is more trust between us that feels like a win (regardless of whether money changes hands). A professional sales person's head would probably explode if they read this but as I said, I'm not a sales person and don't want to become one.
