There are so many layers (threads, if you will) interwoven here. I love how you describe loosening the threads to let the light through.
I also love your epiphany about your apprenticeship. That resonated with me a lot.
Separately, @Beckett Johnson co-hosted a live session on Sunday that reminded me of our conversation about threads. If it’s available, I highly recommend you check it out. I thought of you when he mentioned threads.
Personally, I feel like the ‘right’ threads are really snapping into place right now. And I love it.
I'm always amazed by just how much you know, at such a young age.
I'm glad you got some answers with chatgpt. That sounded like a really fun AI session, incorporating astrology and akashic records. Never thought of adding akashic records, but that one is one I struggle with accessing myself.
Interesting, have you written about working with the akashic records? I’d love to hear about your experience with it. What it looks like, feels like for you.
I love the yarn and knots metaphor Shruthi. What I've always loved about fiber is that it is a one-dimensional object (OK you could argue this point) but when we use knots we turn that thread into two dimensions and then three dimensions. I knit and crochet and I'm always in wonder of the way in which I can transform a strand of yarn into all kinds of cool things.
Here's a thought about talking about our work (I use "our" intentionally because you and I are kindred spirits). What if putting what we do into words is actually an act of service to other people? I absolutely agree with you that your work is complex and exquisite and of the spirit. Yet the opening to this work is often a very mundane issue a client struggles with. They can identify the pain they feel. That pain may be a symptom of something far more complex; of spirit. But the "boring" symptom is often the way in.
I bring this up because I agree with you re the sacredness of the work you do AND I suspect your initial entry point is more immediate pains and challenges.
Articulating this actually makes me feel better about the incomplete but functional way I talk about the work I do. My work is often transformative for clients but it begins with them feeling pained that it's so hard to attract wonderful clients.
Oh you're absolutely right Judy! I love finding out different layers and writing about it. Or when I meet the right people asking, "would you be comfortable if I try something?". Just to allow them to experience, you know?
Also talking about the different threads and finding my own journey with them!
The only thing I'm sure about is that I cannot fit the work into a near website or label you know? Though I feel more associated with soul journey guide.
I like soul journey guide. That feels pretty descriptive for you and what you do. Something you said that stayed with me was "Spirit doesn't give a shit." Maybe that can be your tagline 😸
I love this, Shruthi! I have the same thoughts around - how do I explain what I do to people?!? I read it slowly because it kept making me think...and now a half hour has gone by! LOL It mirrors so much of what I feel and what keeps being revealed to me, and in me. The journey never ends...which is such a beautiful thing. Thanks for being your beautiful self! xo
This was such a lovely read, Shruthi.

Thank you so much Annette! I'll check his live out! Can't wait! They are really snapping into place aren't they?? It's exciting!
I love how synchronicities like this work! ☺️🫶🏼
Me too!

Thank you so much Sam! Working with akashic records is a journey by itself. I'm sort of on my own journey with it... definitely squiggly hahaha

I haven't...but you've definitely inspired me to write now. Thank you Sam!
yessssssss, I can’t wait! If you want to message me with it (because everything gets buried in Substack for me) I’ll gladly read it!
The modern world often cannot see wisdom clearly. Thank you for not letting this blindness deter you.
Don't know whether I'm there yet...but thank you so much Stephanie!

Love to hear your thoughts :-)

That's so so beautiful Lori! This does feel like a whole journey isn't it?? It's so exhausting and worth it!
