Interesting how having labels is so important in today's world.. its like people are scared or fearful of being lost if they did not have one that they identified with.

I know right? It definitely is a journey!

Shruthi... I chuckled all the way through this piece-- out of total recognition of this journey. The chuckle warmed my heart because I know that so many of us are right there with you... and we're finally coming out of our own boxes to speak from our hearts about what we offer. Beautiful! thanks

Thank you so much for this Linda! You're absolutely right and it's high time we get out of these boxes no?

Then, somewhere in October/November last year, I experienced a quantum leap where money had completely gone out of my WHY, and I’m now sitting with the question: “What’s my purpose, the point of my work, if money isn’t involved at all?”

This really struck me - because I’ve felt the same way. Just a surrender - a letting go of being obsessed with the money part of it.

As always, Shruthi, your writing is as if you’re saying the things we’re all feeling. Your connection to the collective consciousness and the ability to articulate it is truly a gift. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much Malisa🥹. And yes it does feel like we're moving towards feeling our purpose in our bodies than chasing it intellectually or having ego attached to it you know?

Beautiful reflections Shruthi. Funny how so many feel they have to label themselves.

The bit that jumped out to me in your post, is this

"Until the person remembers. Recognises, interacts with, sinks into and breathes into their power."

I feel this describes really well what you help people do...next time someone asks😊💜

Shruthi Vidhya Sundaram's avatar

Oh my gosh! Yes yes yes! Thank you Vivienne! That line when it came through stood out to me too!

This feels so powerful. I'm so excited for you. I love the story with the friend's invitation. Bold. I like that.

Oh and Americans LOVE acronyms. I, an American, don't get it either.

Shruthi Vidhya Sundaram's avatar

Why? Why???? Why???? And some people have such good acronyms like teri's mozi method that I get so jealous too lol 😂

I think the way you now talk about what you do is super clear and easy for me to know exactly who you help and how you help them. I love it!

Shruthi Vidhya Sundaram's avatar

That's the biggest compliment ever I can receive from you Judy! Thank you!

Judy Murdoch's avatar

Yeah!! I'm delighted because this makes it super easy for me to know your right-fit clients and send them your way.

Shruthi Vidhya Sundaram's avatar

Oh my gosh!!! How? Why? I'm so blessed to have a soul like you in my field Judy!

Because we're both blessed!! That's what it's all about my friend.

I love this. "...my work was never really about the business anyway." When I was a neo attorney, a salesgirl, was a personal trainer, had a book stand at festivals, and through all the other businesses I was involved in, it was never about the money. It was always about people. The same as it is with my writing. This is why I can seriously say that I feel like I never worked a day in my life. I always chose for love. I never know what to tell people. Besides I hate labeling myself with one thing. What do I do? I started telling people who ask that I live life and I do love. The most honest. authentic answer I have. And it is fun seeing many squirm with not getting it. Keep doing love, Shruthi. ❤️

Shruthi Vidhya Sundaram's avatar

Oooohhh! "It's fun seeing many squirm and not getting it!" That's so powerful Danni! Because it gives the power to us isn't it? Not giving a fuck what they think?

You've inspired me more than you know with this response! Thank you so much!

The focus transforms from how can I fulfill/satisfy others (even strangers, how nutty is that?!) to what fully fills me. Many think that it is a luxury to choose to do what we love, but from experience, I disagree. It took many challenging choices and sacred sacrifice to choose love and passion. And it is most often than not a choice. To simplify. To get rid of excess. To put humans and all that is living first. It feels like going backwards (against progress, the opposite of 'success'), but in the end it is moving forward with love. I feel so much joy connecting with you. Thank you. xo

Yes yes hell yes! Thank you for your words my friend! They resonated so much!
